This 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 coupe has driven 42,408 miles since new and is powered by a 5.7-liter LT5 V8 paired with a ZF 6-speed manual transmission. The performance-tuned, unmodified C4 has resided in California for over two decades and displays original garage-kept finishes with equipment including a removable transparent roof panel, a Bosch ABS II anti-lock braking system, the performance handling package, and an independent front suspension. Finished in Charcoal Metallic over a black leather sport-seat interior, this C4 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a CARFAX report, a ZR1-embossed album, two window stickers, sale documentation, magazines, owner’s manuals, and a clear California title.
The fourth-generation Corvette debuted on the General Motors Y-body platform in model year 1984, and in 1990, a special performance-tuned edition was launched under the ZR-1 nameplate. This low-mileage Corvette from that year comes painted Charcoal Metallic and displays garage-kept finishes throughout, having been outfitted from the factory with the aforementioned $27,016 optional package per the accompanying window sticker. Features include special treatment for the rear fascia, taillights, and side body panels, and the well-kept exterior showcases its characteristic C4 pop-up halogen headlights, fog lamps, and a removable transparent roof panel.
Machined aluminum 17” wheels are wrapped in staggered-sized tires with good tread remaining. Suspension underpinnings are comprised of independent front suspension and a five-link rear suspension with transverse fiberglass springs. Steering is power-assisted, and stopping power comes from a Bosch ABS II anti-lock system with discs both front and rear.
The interior is fitted with dual black leather power-operated bucket seats. Amenities include a Delco Bose AM/FM/cassette/CD radio, automatic climate control, intermittent wipers, cruise control, solar glass, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, and a leather-wrapped sport steering wheel.
Instrumentation is conveyed by a central digital speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a digital fuel gauge, and accompanying analog gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer reads 42,408 miles, which is a true reading per the selling dealer.
The 5.7-liter LT5 V8 was developed in partnership with a U.K.-based consultant firm called Group Lotus and features tuned-port injection, an aluminum block, and four overhead camshafts. This powerplant was assigned a rating of of 375 horsepower when new, and the selling dealer indicates that recent maintenance cost in excess of $3,500 and included a replacement clutch, heater core, ABS sensor, and more. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a ZF-produced console-shifted 6-speed manual transmission.

The sale includes a ZR1-embossed album, owner’s manuals, magazines, original sale documentation, a full engine power key, and two window stickers showing an original total vehicle price of $60,310 including destination. An $85 dealer fee will be added to the purchase price.
