This 2004 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet is an accident-free, unmodified all-wheel-drive sports coupe outfitted with $31,000 in upgrades including an X50 turbo power kit, heated front seats, an aluminum shift lever, aluminum instrument dials, and more. This 911 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-6 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Having been originally sold in Huntington Beach, California, it remained in California until being relocated to Arizona in February 2022. Features include a power-operated retractable soft top, upgraded 19” alloy wheels, and a modern Kenwood Bluetooth stereo. Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a full matte gray wrap over a black leather interior, this 996 Turbo 911 is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report, books, a spare tire, a wind deflector, a tool kit, and a clear California title.
The 996 chassis performance coupes went into production in 1997 in Germany in coupe, convertible, and Targa forms, and the silhouette was characterized by a raked windshield and a sleek body. This 911 from 2004 is painted Arctic Silver Metallic and wrapped in matte gray. The black convertible top is power-operated and double-lined, and the body features bi-xenon leveling headlamps, rear fender air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, model-specific bumpers, and a stainless-steel dual exhaust system. The window sticker in the photo carousel outlines add-on equipment for this model including aluminum trim throughout.
Aluminum 19” wheels are wrapped in new Pirelli performance tires with fewer than 500 miles accrued. The body rides on a MacPherson strut front suspension and an independent multi-link rear suspension with coil springs. A four-wheel alignment was performed in June 2020 per the CARFAX report. Handling is assisted by front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is provided by four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes with cross-drilled rotors.
The 2+2 interior is fitted with black leather bucket seats, matched to the remainder of interior materials and accented with aluminum trim. Amenities include an adjustable steering column, power windows, cruise control, a rear window defroster, automatic climate control, dual cup holders, a leather-wrapped shift knob, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and an aftermarket touch-screen Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, a back-up camera, and 12 speakers.
Instrumentation includes a predominant 8k-rpm tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 145k miles, which is a true reading consistent with the CARFAX report.
The rear-mounted twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-6 features VarioCam Plus variable valve timing and has been well-maintained over its life as evidenced by over 45 service records on the CARFAX report. Noteworthy highlights include replacement of the engine mounts, transmission mounts, and rear lower control arms in 2017, replacement of the spark plugs and coolant in 2015, and a check of the electrical system in 2011. Power is sent to all four wheels via a console-shifted 6-speed manual transmission.
The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage on record. The vehicle passed a California emissions inspection in February 2021. The sale includes books, a tool kit, a spare tire, a wind deflector, and a window sticker showing an original retail price of $159,190 including destination and add-ons.
