1961 Ford Ranchero

This recently painted 1961 Ford Ranchero is powered by an inline 6-cylinder backed by a manual transmission. According to the seller, the hotrod black and pearl white finish on the exterior is new on this Ranchero. Features include an aluminum grille with dual headlamps, aftermarket hood pins, a hood scoop, chrome front and rear bumpers, and dual tail lamps.

The interior features a bench seat with new black upholstery, matching door and kick panels, a body-color steel dashboard and door tops, an AM radio, an aftermarket 3-spoke steering wheel, and black carpeting.

A 100-mph speedometer, gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature, and warning lights for the voltage and oil pressure can be seen in the aluminum bezel on the dash. According to the seller, there are 25,837 miles on the odometer, but true mileage is unknown.

The power is provided by an inline 6-cylinder engine with a newly installed head gasket, carburetor, and distributor cap and rotor. Output is delivered to the road through a column-shifted manual transmission. Features include a painted valve cover, chrome oil breather, body-color closed-element air cleaner, and black spark plug wires.

This Ranchero came from the factory equipped with an independent front suspension with a sway bar and leaf spring-mounted solid rear drive axle. According to the owner, a new fuel tank has been installed. They also note the vehicle needs a brake job and an alignment, which they are willing to furnish when the vehicle sells.
