This rust-free 1932 Chevrolet Deluxe four-door sedan is a frame-off restoration that has been with the seller for 51 years and is powered by its professionally rebuilt 194ci inline-6 engine backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. Features include a rear trunk and luggage rack, dual side-mounted spares, dual horns, a spotlight, a clock, and a cigar lighter. This dark green and black 1932 Chevrolet with a brown mohair interior is available now and comes with service receipts and a clear Virginia title.
The frame-off restoration was started in the early 1970s and completed in 1995 by Charles Frantz of High Expectation Auto Restoration in Front Royal, Virginia. The body is finished in dark green and black with black fenders and cream accent stripes. Features include chrome front and rear bumpers, chrome dual headlights, a spreader bar, accessory wind wings, a spotlight, cowl lamps, fender-mounted spare tires with green covers and rearview mirrors, a body-color trunk, dual taillights, and a vinyl top insert. According to the seller, the wood framing in the body, doors, and roof is solid.
A set of refinished cream 18-inch wire wheels with chrome Chevrolet center caps and trim rings are wrapped in 5.25/5.50-18 tires.
The front bench seat, rear seat, headliner, and door panels have been re-upholstered in brown mohair. Features include a rubber mat in the front row, carpeting in the back row, a rear footrest, faux woodgrain window reveals, a cigar lighter, a factory clock, rear ashtrays, rear window shades, manual windows, and a black 3-spoke steering wheel.
An 80-mph speedometer and gauges for the oil pressure, amps, coolant temperature, and fuel level are mounted ahead of the driver. According to the seller, the true mileage is unknown because the odometer was replaced during the restoration process.
The power is provided by a 194ci inline-6 engine backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. Features include a single-barrel carburetor, electric start, an oil-bath air cleaner, an upgraded electric fuel pump, gray engine paint, and a cast-iron intake and exhaust manifold. The seller notes that the heater core and muffler need to be replaced.
This sedan came from the factory equipped with a solid front axle and a solid rear axle on a perimeter frame. The braking is provided by mechanical drum brakes.
Service receipts are included with the sale.
