This 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne two-door sedan has been driven fewer than 1,000 miles since the installation of an upgraded ZZ454 big-block 454ci V8 paired with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission and a rebuilt rear end with Eaton positraction. It comes equipped it with a T-handle shifter, auxiliary gauges, and an aluminum radiator. Refinished in white over a black vinyl interior, this fourth-generation Biscayne is now offered with service records, uninstalled parts, and a clear California title in the seller’s name.
The Biscayne was a full-size model that initially went into production in 1958 as the least expensive model of its size in the Chevrolet lineup. Trim and equipment changes were applied through the early 1960s. The model evolved into its fourth generation in 1965 and was offered in body styles including two-door sedans, four-door sedans, and four-door station wagons. This Biscayne two-door sedan from 1966 was repainted white in 2013 and features chrome brightwork, quad headlights, and a dual exhaust system. The seller notes that there is some minor rust near the back window.
Black steel wheels with polished trim rings are surrounded by tires that were replaced within the last two years, according to the seller. Braking is controlled by new front discs as well as rear drums.
The interior is fitted with new black vinyl bucket front seats, a center console, and black door panels, dash, new carpeting, and Impala-branded rubber floor mats. Features include a T-handle shifter, tilt-adjustable steering column, heater, carpeted dash mat, and trunk-mounted spare tire.
Instrumentation includes a combination of factory and aftermarket gauges, consisting of a sweeping 120-mph speedometer, a column-mounted 10K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer tracks mileage, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The big-block ZZ454 454ci V8 crate engine was installed within the last 1,000 miles and is cooled by a new aluminum radiator. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a new floor-shifted Tremec 5-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch. The rear end is a rebuilt 12-bolt setup with Moser axles, Eaton positraction, and 3.42 gearing.
Additional pictures of the underbody are available in the gallery to the right.
The sale includes service records and uninstalled parts. The seller has provided a video with additional details on the vehicle.

Is there anything that has to be done to be a good driver
Yes, there are some spots. Notably under the driver side door and at the bottom right side of the rear window. Mostly minor but there nonetheless.
