This 1969 Chevrolet C10 long-bed fleetside pickup is powered by a newer 355ci Chevrolet V8 engine with FiTech fuel injection backed by TH350 automatic transmission. Features include an air suspension system, power steering and brakes, a relocated 18-gallon fuel tank, and RideTech tubular front control arms. This white C10 with a black vinyl and gray cloth interior is available now and comes with a clear California title in the seller's name.
The body was refinished in white three months ago and features a shaved cab-mounted fuel filler neck and contrasting matte black bumpers, grille, taillight trim, door handles, mirrors, and emblems. The rear embossed Chevrolet tailgate lettering, front fender emblems, grill lettering, and hood bowtie are accented with 24-karat gold leaf. According to the seller, there is mild orange peel on the paint surface and some of the glass seals need to be replaced. A video can be seen in the carousel to the right.
A set of matte black 22-inch GM transport wheels with white Chevy Luv hub caps are wrapped in 22-inch radial tires.
The bench seat is upholstered in gray cloth and black vinyl. Features include black vinyl door panel inserts with stereo speakers, manual windows, matte black interior door shells, black carpet, a matte black dashboard with a black top pad, an AM radio, and a 3-spoke black steering wheel with a wood rim. A manual paddle-valve 4-corner air suspension control panel with air tank gauges is mounted under the dashboard and the FiTech fuel injection control panel is mounted on top of the steering column.
Instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, and more. The five-digit odometer shows 99K miles, but true mileage is unknown.
The power is provided by a newer 355ci Chevrolet V8 engine connected to FiTech fuel injection and a TH350 automatic transmission. According to the seller, the engine has only 500 miles on it. Features include power steering, Hedman headers, a new aluminum dual-core radiator with dual electric fans, 200cc polished and ported heads, finned cast-aluminum valve covers, finned oil fill caps, and an oval open-element finned aluminum air cleaner with 24-karat gold accents. The heater and blower assembly have been blocked off, the hood hinges and inner fenders have been removed for front tire clearance, and aftermarket hood hinges with gas shocks have been added. According to the seller, the engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, engine coolant, and power steering fluid were changed one month ago. A video can be seen in the carousel to the right.
The stamped steel front control arms and coil springs have been replaced with RideTech StrongArm upper and lower tubular control arms and double-convoluted airbags. The rear coil springs have been removed and replaced with double-convoluted airbags. The air suspension is fully adjustable at all four corners. The air tank and compressor are mounted underneath the bed. The original frame rails and crossmembers have been refinished in matte black and the rear frame rails have an added notch for rear axle clearance when lowered. A full-length dual exhaust system exits just after the rear axle. The original in-cab fuel tank has been removed and replaced with an aftermarket 18-gallon fuel tank mounted in the rear frame with the fuel filler located in the bed floor. The stopping power is provided by power brakes with drilled and slotted front discs and rear drums.
