This 1947 Buick Special Sedanette is powered by a 476ci V8 engine backed by a Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission. Features include custom paint, an aftermarket digital AM/FM stereo, power steering, power brakes, and an independent front suspension. This Claret Red with white, yellow, and orange flames and a tan and burgundy vinyl interior is available now and comes with a clear title from the seller.
The customized body has been refinished in Claret Red with white, yellow, and orange flame graphics. Features include radiused wheel wells, front and rear roll pans; frenched headlights; shaved front running lights, hood ornament, door handles, and trim; custom taillights; a relocated fuel door; and smoothed fenders.
A set of 15-inch chrome Truespoke wire wheels is wrapped in Kelly Charger radial tires.
The front bucket seats, rear seats, interior side trim, and door panels are upholstered with tan and burgundy vinyl. Tan ostrich-look material covers the center console. Features include red carpeting, a tilt steering column topped with a 3-spoke Grant banjo steering wheel with a wood rim, a steel dashboard finished in Claret Red, an AM/FM digital stereo, and power windows.
A set of Classic Instruments gauges including a 140-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are mounted in a custom panel ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 724 miles. True mileage on the car is unknown.
The power is provided by a 476ci big-block V8 engine backed by a 4-speed Muncie M20 manual transmission. Features include power steering, aluminum valve covers, an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, a 4-barrel carburetor, MSD ignition, tube headers, and a chrome open-element air cleaner.
The original front suspension has been replaced with an independent front suspension clip. The back end has a solid 10-bolt rear drive axle.
