This 2003 Ford Mustang GT Roush Stage 2 convertible has been driven 23,300 miles since new and upgraded with a sport underbody kit, sway bars, and cross-drilled brake rotors. Under the hood, the 4.6-liter SOHC V8 features a cold air intake and a custom exhaust system, sending power to the pavement through a 5-speed manual transmission and a set of Bridgestone ZR-rated tires. This Mustang was sold to its original owner in Tennessee and spent time in Wisconsin before being relocated to Florida earlier this year. Finished in metallic blue with a tan cloth power-retractable top over a tan and brown leather interior, this fourth-generation Mustang is now offered by the selling dealer with two keys, manuals, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.
Codenamed the SN-95, the fourth-generation Mustang was offered in convertible and coupe variants when it was introduced in the 1994 model year. A redesign in 1999 brought revised “New Edge” styling with sharper edges but retained the same overall roofline. This metallic blue Mustang convertible from 2003 has a tan cloth power-retractable top as well as fog lamps, a hood scoop, aerodynamic underbody panels, side-exit exhausts, Roush badging, and a trunk-mounted wing.
Aluminum 18-inch Roush-branded wheels are wrapped in Bridgestone ZR-rated tires. Stopping power comes from four-wheel power-assisted anti-lock disc brakes with cross-drilled rotors. The suspension benefits from upgraded front and rear valved shock absorbers and sway bars.
The cabin is fitted with two-tone tan and brown leather Roush-branded bucket front seats, matched to the dual-cockpit dashboard, door panels, carpeting, floor mats, and rear seats. A style bar is mounted midway through the cabin. Amenities include air conditioning, aluminum pedals, cruise control, power door locks, power windows, a tilt-adjustable steering column, and an AM/FM stereo with a six-disc CD changer. A placard identifying this as a Stage 2 Roush Mustang is located on the dashboard near the ignition.
Instrumentation consists of a series of white-faced Roush-branded gauges including a 150-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary readouts for the fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The digital odometer shows 23,300 miles, which is supported by the CARFAX report.
The natrually aspirated 4.6-liter SOHC V8 has been upgraded with a cold air intake and a high-performance exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted 5-speed manual transmission.
Additional pictures of the underbody are available in the photo gallery to the right.
The CARFAX report shows a vehicle history free of accidents or damage. The sale includes owner’s manuals, two keys, and the original tool kit. The selling dealer has provided two videos with additional information.
