This 1969 Chevrolet Nova two-door hardtop is a performance-upgraded muscle car that receives power from a 383ci stroker V8 paired with a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. It comes dressed as a Super Sport tribute with upgrades including an aluminum radiator, an MSD ignition system, 17-inch American Racing wheels, and a custom exhaust system. Finished in black with silver accent striping over a black vinyl interior, this Nova is now offered with a clear Georgia title in the seller’s name.
Offered in the compact segment beginning in 1962, the Chevy II – later known under just the Nova name – rode on the General Motors X-body platform and used semi-unibody construction. A variety of body styles were available including sedans, hardtops, convertibles, and station wagons. Subsequent redesigns were carried out in 1966 and 1968, when the Nova received an all-new body with a softened side profile and tapered rear with horizontal taillamps. This Nova two-door hardtop from 1969 was refinished in black with silver accent striping, SS branding, and brightwork accents.
Polished aluminum 17-inch front and 18-inch rear American Racing wheels are wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza tires. Braking is provided by rear drums coupled with front discs using cross-drilled and slotted rotors.
The cabin is fitted with black vinyl bucket front seats, matched to the door panels, padded dash, carpeting, headliner, and rear bench. Features include an SS-branded steering wheel, a radio, and floor mats.
Vehicle information is communicated through a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and auxiliary under-dash pods with an 8K-rpm tachometer and readouts for other vehicle systems. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 7K miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 383ci stroker V8 has been upgraded with an MSD ignition system, an aluminum radiator, a rear-mounted battery, and a custom exhaust system with an X-pipe. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a column-shifted 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission with a 3,000-rpm-stall torque converter.
Photos showing the underside are available in the carousel.
The seller has provided videos of the car with additional details, including a demonstration of the car idling.

Hello to answer your question directly, yes. You can drive this car all day and it won’t get a tick higher than 175 degrees. The gearing in the rear end I’ve been told by the previous owner is 3:73. That causes the highway cruising RPM at around 3000 at 70mph
@Jhall11138 - Thank you for the reply. I looked and we are about 101 miles apart. If I were to win do you think that the car will make the drive or should I bring a trailer? I don't know what gear it has in it or what the RPM is at 70 MPH? Thank you.
@jhall11138 – Yes, the vehicle drives out very nicely. It has tubular control arms up front and leaf springs in the rear. I have not had the vehicle on the dyno but the power is pretty impressive and very responsive. This vehicle was built with nothing but the best parts mechanically as well as cosmetically. ...

All gauges perform as they shotwith no issues. There is an aftermarket gauge cluster with temp, oil, battery gauges mounted under dash that perform as they should. There is also a functional Tachometer mounted behind the steering wheel.
