This rust-free 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2, restored in 2018, has been with the seller for eight years and is powered by the reportedly original rebuilt 289ci V8 engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include power front disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning, an aftermarket AM/FM radio, and new glass. This white Mustang with metallic gray Le Mans stripes and a new black vinyl Pony interior comes with restoration documentation and a clean Missouri title in the seller's name.
The exterior was refinished in white with metallic gray Le Mans stripes in 2017. Features include chrome bumpers, fog lights, a hood scoop, new glass, dual side mirrors, dual GT-style exhaust pipes, and reverse lights.
A set of chrome Mustang Rally wheels with red center caps is wrapped in redline tires.
The front bucket seats, fold-down rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in new black vinyl with Pony print. Features include black carpeting, seat belts, manual windows, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, a black dashboard with a matching top pad, an aftermarket AM/FM radio mounted in the factory location, and a floor-mounted manual shifter.
A 140-mph speedometer and gauges for the coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage are mounted in a black panel ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 2,316 miles, but the true mileage is unknown.
Power is provided by the reportedly original 289ci Ford V8 engine, which was rebuilt in 2018 and comes backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include power steering, power brakes, aftermarket air conditioning, chrome valve covers, a chrome air cleaner housing with a 289ci decal, an aluminum radiator, and a black tubular California bar. According to the current owner, 2,300 miles have been logged since the engine rebuild. A video of this Mustang driving can be seen in the carousel to the right. The seller will complete an oil change prior to the sale.
This Mustang came factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Stopping power is provided by power brakes with front discs and rear drums.
The seller will include photos and paperwork relating to the restoration as part of the sale. An exterior and interior walkaround video is available to watch in the gallery to the right.

This is too rich for me - but I am glad to see the respect for a lovely pretty much original to form (and damn anyone even thinking of resto-mod or making it "better" please find another that deserves it).

Is there a picture of the door plate? and it appears the videos were taken down; is there a reason why?
Is this a “K” code 289 ?

Nice car! Are the stripes painted/cleared or decals? Did the restoration include new wiring harness?
