This 1934 Buick Model 47 four-door touring sedan received a carburetor rebuild, a radiator cleaning, a new water pump, and fresh hoses in early 2022. The Straight-8 engine is paired with a 3-speed manual transmission and fed by an electric fuel pump. Features include suicide doors, reupholstered bench seating, and whitewall tires. Refinished in two-tone blue over a blue cloth interior, this Model 47 is now offered with a clear North Carolina title in the seller’s name.
This Model 47 four-door touring sedan was repainted in a two-tone blue paint scheme under prior ownership. Features include rear-hinged rear doors, bright bumpers, rubber running board covers, and a rear-mounted continental kit. The seller notes that the hood latches are in need of adjustment and there is no windshield wiper motor in place at the present time.
Body-color wheels with chrome center caps are wrapped in whitewall tires.
The cabin is furnished with reupholstered blue cloth front and rear bench seats matched to the door panels, headliner, and carpeting. The seller notes that the rear window cranks need adjustment.
Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer and accompanying gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 94K miles, which the seller believes to be original although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The Straight-8 engine is said to run well and received a carburetor rebuild as well as a new water pump, a radiator cleaning, and new hoses in early 2022. An electric fuel pump has been added. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 3-speed manual transmission. The seller has posted a video of the car being started and driven in the gallery to the right.
