Vehicle Story

This 1932 Ford 3-window Coupe has a fiberglass body produced by Kyle Bond of Gibbon Fiberglass Reproductions and is powered by a 1993 Chevrolet 350ci V8 crate engine backed by a TH350 automatic transmission. Features include power windows, remote power door latches, air conditioning, manual brakes with front discs, a stereo with a CD player, Ron Francis wiring, and an IDIDIT tilt steering column. This metallic blue Ford with a tan vinyl interior is available now and comes with a color-matched Mullins Red Cap trailer and a clear Florida title.

The fiberglass body and fenders are finished in blue metallic. Features include a louvered one-piece steel hood, a dropped headlight bar, dual headlamps, a stainless grille insert, a V-front spreader bar with integrated turn signals, billet mirror caps, 1951 Pontiac taillights with blue dots, tinted windows, custom pinstriping, and rubber-covered steel running boards. A Mullins Red Cap trailer is finished to match the coupe body.

A set of Halibrand aluminum wheels with tri-bar spinners is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires in staggered sizes.

The bucket seats, interior trim, headliner, and door panels are upholstered in tan vinyl. Features include air conditioning, power windows, a floor-mounted automatic shifter, tan carpet with clear vinyl floor mats, an aluminum overhead console with a Pioneer stereo with XM Sirius radio capability, an IDIDIT tilt steering column with an aluminum flame-style steering wheel, and a body-color dashboard with custom pinstriping. The interior was completed by Fred M. Carella.

A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level are mounted in an oval aluminum panel in the center of the dashboard. The odometer reads 28,067 miles but the true mileage is unknown.

Power is provided by a 1993 Chevrolet 350ci V8 crate engine backed by a TH350 automatic transmission. Underhood features include chrome Sanderson block-hugger tube headers, billet aluminum flame-style valve covers, and a matching oval air cleaner housing. Additional features include an HEI distributor, chrome wire looms and brackets, Taylor Cable Products ignition wires, Gotta Show air conditioning lines, a chrome alternator, a chrome air conditioning compressor, and an electric fan.

A dropped tube front axle with Pete and Jakes chrome shocks, a Mustang manual steering box, chrome spring perches, and a 9-inch Ford solid rear drive axle with positraction, coilover shocks, and a Total Performance 4-bar setup is mounted to a body-color 1932 Ford reproduction chassis. A full-length dual exhaust exits at the rear. Stopping power is provided by manual front disc and rear drum brakes.
