This all-steel 1935 Ford Convertible Cabriolet rides on a Heinzman Street Rods chassis and draws power from a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 connected to a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It comes equipped with power steering, power brakes, a Flowmaster dual exhaust system, air conditioning, and Vintique wheels with whitewall tires. Finished in black and equipped with a black fabric top over a custom red and black Ultraleather interior, this cabriolet is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
This Ford drop-top comes in black with red pinstriping, chrome trim, and chrome bumpers with over-riders. Features include dual horns and mirrors, rubber-covered running boards, and a black fabric top with a glass rear window. According to the selling dealer, the top is functional and was never put down by the previous owner.
The car rolls on a set of Vintique wheels with red spokes and polished trim rings, and whitewall radial tires.
The interior was redone by Weber Upholstery of Alexandria, Minnesota and comes furnished with red and black Ultraleather bucket front seats, matching door panels and rumble seat upholstery, a black dashboard, and black carpeting. Chrome accents are found on the dashboard and door panels. The cabin is equipped with power steering, air conditioning, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a tilt steering column, and an antique radio in the dashboard that controls the aftermarket radio under the dashboard.
The set of Classic Instruments gauges includes an 8K-rpm tachometer, a 140-mph speedometer, and readouts for the oil pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The 6-digit odometer shows 7,935 miles, but the drivetrain reportedly has fewer than 10K miles on it. True mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The naturally aspirated 5.7-liter LS1 V8 routes its power to the road through a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission, a Ford 9-inch rear end, and the back wheels.
This build was based on a Heinzman Street Rods chassis. Stopping is handled by power brakes. The Flowmaster dual exhaust system ends in a pair of slash-cut pipes below the rear bumper.
