502-Powered 1963 Chevrolet Nova SS

This 1963 Chevrolet Nova two-door hardtop gasser is powered by a dual-quad, supercharged 502ci big-block Chevrolet V8 engine backed by a TCI TH400 automatic transmission. This Nova was originally equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. The front suspension has been converted to a square-tube front frame stub with a solid chrome tube axle and manual disc brakes. The rear suspension has been upgraded by eliminating the rear leaf springs and adding ladder bars and coil-over shocks along with a diagonal track bar and wheelie bars. Additional equipment includes a Ford 9-inch spool rear end with 4.40 gears. A dual exhaust system runs from the headers and ends ahead of the rear wheels.
