This 1963 Chevrolet Nova two-door hardtop gasser is powered by a dual-quad, supercharged 502ci big-block Chevrolet V8 engine backed by a TCI TH400 automatic transmission. Features include a polished 8-71 Weiand supercharger, dual 850-cfm Holley carburetors, a straight-axle front frame stub and suspension conversion, Super Sport emblems, wheelie bars, and a roll bar. This red and silver Nova with a silver vinyl interior is available now and comes with receipts and a clear Ohio title.
The exterior of this gasser Nova is finished in red with silver lower body accents and tail panel. Features include chrome bumpers, single headlights with an aluminum grille, Super Sport emblems, a rear spoiler, and single taillights with reverse lights.
A set of Cragar S/S chrome 5-spoke wheels is wrapped with radial tires. The front tires are treaded and the rear tires are street slicks.
A set of front bucket seats, the matching rear seat, door trim, and door panels are upholstered in silver vinyl. Features include gray carpeting with black rubber floor mats, a body-color center console, a floor-mounted automatic shifter with reverse lockout, and a roll cage. In addition, the cabin is equipped with a red steel dashboard with SS emblems, an aftermarket radio mounted in the original location, a 3-spoke aftermarket steering wheel, manual windows, manual steering, and manual brakes.
A 120-mph speedometer, fuel gauge, and warning lights for the coolant temperature, generator, and oil pressure are located in a body-color panel ahead of the driver. A polished aluminum 3-gauge panel including Autometer gauges for the water temperature, water temperature, and amperage is located under the dashboard. An Autometer 10K-rpm Sport-Comp tachometer is mounted to the steering column. An aftermarket Autometer boost gauge is located on top of the dashboard. The odometer reads 69,821 miles, but the true mileage is unknown.
Power is provided by a supercharged 502ci big-block Chevrolet V8 engine backed by a TCI TH400 transmission. Underhood features include removed inner front fender wells, a dual-circuit manual master cylinder, chrome tubular body-to-frame reinforcements, and fender well tube headers. Additional features include a polished 8-71 Weiand supercharger, dual Holley 850-cfm carburetors, a ribbed polished aluminum intake scoop, polished aluminum valve covers with The Heartbeat of America logo, dual electric fans, and a transmission cooler.
This Nova was originally equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. The front suspension has been converted to a square-tube front frame stub with a solid chrome tube axle and manual disc brakes. The rear suspension has been upgraded by eliminating the rear leaf springs and adding ladder bars and coil-over shocks along with a diagonal track bar and wheelie bars. Additional equipment includes a Ford 9-inch spool rear end with 4.40 gears. A dual exhaust system runs from the headers and ends ahead of the rear wheels.
The seller will include receipts with the sale.
