1934 Ford 5-Window Coupe

This all-steel 1934 Ford Model 40 coupe is an unfinished frame-off restoration powered by a rebuilt 347ci stroker V8 backed by a C4 3-speed automatic transmission. Features include front disc brakes, re-chromed trim, a tilt steering column, manual steering, manual windows, Rocket Racing wheels, and new BFGoodrich tires. This pearl charcoal gray Ford with a partially completed gray cloth interior is available now with uninstalled new and original parts and a clear Kansas title in the seller's name.

The exterior has been restored and professionally refinished in pearl charcoal gray. Features include a re-chromed grille and windshield frame, chrome headlight housings, amber front turn signals, chrome mirror caps, new safety glass, a filled roof insert, new rubber-covered running boards, and custom LED taillights.

A set of chrome 5-spoke Rocket Racing wheels is wrapped in 185/65R/15 BFGoodrich front tires and 225/55/R17 BFGoodrich rear tires.

A pair of late-model bucket seats are upholstered with gray cloth and multi-tone gray inserts. The interior is currently unfinished, but wood structural elements have been installed. Features include pearl charcoal gray sheet metal; manual steering, brakes, and windows; a pearl charcoal gray steel dashboard; a tilt steering column; a 3-spoke billet steering wheel; and a floor-mounted automatic shifter.   

A set of white-faced gauges, including a 120-mph speedometer and readouts for the fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure, are mounted in a billet aluminum panel ahead of the driver. A 7K-rpm tachometer is mounted in the center of the dashboard. The odometer reads 3,754 miles but the true mileage on the vehicle is unknown.

Power is provided by a 302ci V8 engine that has been stroked to 347ci and backed by a C4 automatic transmission with a shift kit and 2,200-rpm stall converter. Underhood features include black valve covers with 347 Stoker logos, an MSD distributor, a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, an aluminum intake, tubular exhaust headers, and a black air cleaner housing. The underpinnings have been modified to include a drilled I-beam solid front axle with a 4-inch drop, a 9-inch rear drive axle, rear coilovers, a new brake master cylinder, and a new frame. Braking is provided by manual front discs and rear drums. A dual-exhaust system exits ahead of the rear axle. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be seen in the carousel to the right.
