This 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams 4x4 is finished in Iceberg white over a black cloth interior and is powered by a 4.0-liter V6 engine paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. Only 3,200 Trail Teams Special Edition FJs were produced in 2008, which outfitted the truck with off-road enhancements from Toyota Racing Development (TRD). Equipment includes Convenience Package, tubular roof rack, and skid plates. Originally sold in New York, the truck was consistently dealer-serviced by the first owner. The vehicle was relocated to Nebraska in August 2020. Recent service work includes new brakes, timing chain, seals & gaskets, A/C compressor, and more. Located in Omaha, Nebraska, this FJ Cruiser is now offered by the selling dealership with a CARFAX report on a clean Nebraska title.
The truck is finished in Iceberg White and is equipped with Trail Teams package, giving it a factory roof rack, privacy glass, rock sliders, and front & rear skid plates. The roof is color-matched white, but the bumpers, wheels, fender flares, mirrors, and handles are finished in matte black. Auxilary lights are mounted to the front bumper, while a full-size spare tire is mounted to the swing-out tailgate. Additional features include a rear tow hitch, polished TRD exhaust tip, and Trail Teams badging. The CARFAX reported an accident with another vehicle in June 2009; no additional information is provided.
Factory 16” Toyota Racing Development alloy wheels are finished in black and mounted to new Goodyear Wrangler 33” tires on all four corners. All Trail Teams FJ Cruisers were equipped with off-road upgrades such as aluminum skid plates, Bilstein shock absorbers, and rock sliders. The vehicle is also equipped with Vehicle Stability Control and an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution.
The interior is fitted in black carpeting with protective rubber floor mats and black cloth seats, currently protected by patterned covers. The FJammer audio system consists of a six-speaker AM/FM CD stereo with a subwoofer, while additional options include air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows and locks. The dash features white trim finished to match the exterior, while a compass and inclinometer are mounted on top. The factory shift knobs have been replaced with billet aluminum handles.
Instrumentation includes a centrally-mounted 120-mph speedometer, a 7k- rpm tachometer, and additional gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 128k miles, most of which were added by the original owner before the dealership’s acquisition this year.
The truck is powered by a 4.0-liter V6, which was consistently serviced by the selling dealership maintenance through 2013. Recent major service performed includes replacing the timing chain & A/C compressor, coolant flush, a new water pump, new spark plugs, and filters. A 5-speed automatic transmission sends power to the wheels through a dual-range transfer case.
Additional photos showing the underside are provided in the gallery.
The CARFAX report shows an open recall dating back to 2012 regarding the TRD high-performance brake equipment, and a remedy is available. The sale includes service records, and the Toyota build sheet.
