This Chevrolet Corvair Monza 900 convertible was built in the second week of November of its production year. It was restored and given a new paint color under previous ownership. Features include chrome bumpers, a front trunk, a manual convertible top, a top boot, and whitewall tires. The cabin offers two rows of seating, front lap belts, manual crank windows, and a push-button radio. Power is supplied by a rear-mounted 164ci flat-6 engine and delivered to the road through an automatic transaxle and the rear wheels. Refinished in black with a white fabric top over a red vinyl interior, this Corvair is available now and comes from the selling dealer with an owner's manual and a clear title.
As the 936 paint code on the data tag shows, this Corvair was originally Ermione White, but it was repainted black as part of a restoration carried out under previous ownership. Exterior features include chrome bumpers, quad round headlights, a front trunk, a driver-side mirror, bright trim and rocker panel accents, a louvered engine cover, quad round taillights with integrated reverse lights, and a single exhaust outlet on the passenger side. The manual white fabric convertible top fits under a red boot. According to the selling dealer, the glass is free of cracks and the top does not have any rips or tears in it.
The wheels are covered by the reportedly original hubcaps and wrapped in whitewall tires.
The red interior is furnished with vinyl front buckets and a rear bench seat along with matching door panels and carpeting. Metallic trim highlights the red dual-cowl dashboard. Equipment includes front lap belts, a push-button radio, and manual crank windows. The front trunk is lined with gray carpeting.
Vehicle information is delivered through a 100-mph sweep-style speedometer, fuel level gauge, and engine warning lights. The 5-digit odometer shows 15K miles, but the true mileage is unknown.
Power from the rear-mounted 164ci flat-6 engine is sent to the road through an automatic transaxle and the rear wheels.
An owner's manual is included with the sale of the car. The selling dealer has posted a video in the gallery to the right that shows the vehicle in greater detail.
