1966 Volkswagen Beetle

This 1966 Volkswagen Beetle two-door sedan is powered by an upgraded 1600cc air-cooled flat-4 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include an upgraded 12-volt electrical system, an aftermarket AM/FM radio, lap belts, and tinted rear windows. This metallic teal Beetle with a tan vinyl interior is available now and comes with jack tools, aftermarket floor mats, and a clear California title in the seller’s name.

The rust-free exterior has been refinished in metallic teal. Features include chrome over-rider bumpers, glass-covered headlights with chrome visors, chrome mirror caps, driver- and passenger-side window rain guards, and tinted pop-out quarter windows.  

A set of chrome 15-inch wheels with chrome VW-branded hubcaps is wrapped in new 165/80 radial tires. A matching tire is mounted on the spare wheel in the front trunk.

The front bucket and rear bench seats, trim, and door panels are upholstered with tan vinyl. Features include gray carpeting with aftermarket black rubber floor mats, metallic light blue door and dashboard sheet metal, a new aftermarket AM/FM radio with kick panel-mounted speakers, manual windows, and manual brakes.

A 90-mph speedometer with warning lights for the voltage and oil pressure and a gas gauge is mounted inside the metallic light blue dashboard. The mechanical odometer shows 46,340 miles, but the true mileage on the car is unknown. 

Power is provided by an upgraded air-cooled 1,600cc dual-port flat-4 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. A new clutch, flywheel, and carburetor have recently been installed.

This Beetle came factory-equipped with a 4-wheel independent suspension and rear drive axle. The seller states that the body and floors are solid. Braking is provided by manual drum brakes.

An original VW jack, a lug nut wrench, a jack handle, and a storage bag will be included with the sale.
