This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro is a Florida-owned sports coupe that receives power from a 350ci V8 paired with a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. It comes with factory air conditioning, a dual exhaust system, raised-white-letter tires, and a rear spoiler. Finished in red with white stripes and a black vinyl top over a beige vinyl interior, this second-generation Camaro is now offered with a clear Florida title in the seller’s name.
This red Camaro coupe has a contrasting black vinyl top along with white accent striping for the hood and the trunk lid. The body features chrome brightwork, color-keyed sport mirror caps, Z28 badging, rocker moldings, a rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets.
Gray 15-inch five-spoke wheels are wrapped in raised-white-letter tires.
The interior is fitted with beige vinyl bucket seats up front and a rear bench, matching door panels, and contrasting black materials for the center console, dash, and carpeting. Features include factory air conditioning, a radio, and a vinyl-lined trunk with a spare tire.
Instrumentation includes a 150-mph speedometer, 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 55K miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 350ci Turbo Fire V8 transfers power to the rear wheels via a console-shifted 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission.
Steering is power-assisted. Stopping is handled by power disc brakes. Additional photos showing the underside of the vehicle are available in the carousel.
@mnarbaiz – Why do you say you should've never sold it? ...
It was a true American classic muscle car and a collector’s dream. Try and try to find one now
@Bobthefence – Really? A/c was an option and I had a 70 , LT-1 Z/28 with air conditioning. It also had split bumpers and I should have never sold it ...
Why do you say you should've never sold it?
@Buickcitykid – This car has a ton of eyeball! Base Camaro or not, it appears well executed. Does the driver’s door close up tighter than what is showing? Thanks ...
Hi, yes it closes tight, you just have to close it hard
@Vette77 – Hi can you please tell me if it's a real z28 ...
Hi vette77, no it's not a true Z 28
@mnarbaiz – Thank you, this is not a true z 28. ...

@drdabdul – Hello, I have as original owner a 70 Z28 red with black stripes and no true 70 Z28 came with factory AC. ...
Thank you, this is not a true z 28.
Hello, I have as original owner a 70 Z28 red with black stripes and no true 70 Z28 came with factory AC.
@johnmgeraci – 1.) please confirm 10 bolt rear end? 2.) does the AC work? 3.) what year was the body work completed? Year painted? 4.) not the original engine? 5.) engine HP or Dyno cert? Thanks! ...
My guess is that it was rebuilt and repainted in 2020 and it's not the original engine. I 'm unable to answer your other questions.
@jcsroadking – Is this car a TRUE Z28? ...
no
It's not a true Z 28. The a/c is original so it does blow cold, but not as cold as compared to today's a/c units. One of the belts squeals if the a/c is running while stopped at a light.
