OVERVIEW
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro hardtop coupe underwent a nearly three-year-long frame-off restoration completed in 2011 and is powered by a reportedly numbers-matching, rebuilt 327ci V8 paired with a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a center console, factory air conditioning, front disc brakes, and a rear spoiler. Finished in Ermine White with black nose striping and a black vinyl roof over a red vinyl interior, this first-year Camaro is now offered with receipts, documentation, the original owner’s manual, uninstalled original parts detailed below, and a clear Colorado title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The seller believes this car was originally sold as part of the Indy Pacesetter promotion. As part of a frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration performed between 2008 and 2011, the reportedly rust-free body was recoated in Ermine White (paint code C) along with black nose striping and capped with a replacement black vinyl roof. The original trunk lid was replaced with a trunk lid equipped with a spoiler, both of which were painted to match the car. According to the seller, most of the chrome trim and badges and both bumpers are 1967 OEM parts that were removed prior to the restoration and put back on afterward. They believe all of the glass except for the windshield is original. Other features include bumper guards, a driver-side mirror, and pinstripes. The seller has provided images in the photo carousel on the right showing the car at various stages of the restoration process.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Newer black American Racing Torq Thrust wheels with polished lips are wrapped in newer BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is fitted with red vinyl bucket seats with black accents up front and a matching, reportedly original bench in the rear. According to the seller, the front seat frames are original. The front seat upholstery, headliner, carpeting, trunk liner, and spare tire cover were replaced during the restoration. Amenities include lap belts, factory air conditioning, a clock, floor mats, and a modern radio.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 54,000 miles, which reflects 154,000 actual miles per the seller.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The reportedly numbers-matching 327ci V8 was rebuilt when the car had approximately 100,000 miles and comes paired with a newer carburetor. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping is performed by power front disc brakes and rear drums. Steering is power-assisted.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The sale includes receipts, documentation, the original owner’s manual, and the uninstalled original wheels, hub caps, trunk lid, air intake, and Rochester Quadrajet carburetor. The seller is ordering a retro-look stereo to replace the current radio. A professional appraisal was reportedly conducted in 2019 and resulted in a rating of 93/100.
@denvernative – As I watch the bids, I do appreciate the interest. However, in todays market the frame off, complete nut/bolt, frame off OEM restoration alone would cost more than the current bid. This car is special being a Plain Jane with Deluxe interior and because how heavily documented it is with before, during and after photos of the restoration. Not to mention receipts and hand written fuel fill ups from the previous owner. A true Camaro enthusiast will appreciate the depth of the restoration, power of the 327 with the 2 speed power glide, power and tilt steering and how much original character this car has. In the 2nd page of the photos, there's a photo of the "Chart of Options", this shows how my of certain options were built. Check out the highlighted lines; these are all items that I've cross referenced with this Camaro. D33: Mirror, left outside remote control, only 8,630 built. N10: Dual Exhaust only, 6,722 built. U35: Interior electric clock, only 13,185 built. This Camaro isn't a COPO or Z28 but someone built this car differently for some reason. It has some really special, rare and unique option. It's not as ordinary as a typical Sport Coupe. YouTube walk around video, just copy and paste this link: https://youtu.be/zjSiiZtw9gg ...

@Csquared – Can I get a little more clarity on what the appraisal of 93/100 means. Is that scored based on restoration completion and effectiveness or some other scoring metric. Thanks. ...
