This 2012 Jeep Wrangler “Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Special Edition” is finished in black over black two-tone vinyl and cloth interior. number 1,903 out of 3,500 produced, and one of 187 produced with its equipment. Power comes from a 3.6-liter 6-cylinder Pentastar engine with a 5-speed W5A580 automatic transmission and 4.1 Rock-Track 4WD system, which features electric locking front and rear differentials, as well as electronic front sway bar sway bars. Specific to the MW3 Special Edition, features include exterior badging, embroidered front seats, headrests, and an MW3 branded gauge cluster, along with a branded spare tire cover and rubber floor mats. The Wrangler also features aftermarket equipment, including a 2” lift kit, among other items. Sold new in Hillsboro, Oregon, the Jeep was purchased by the current owner's father before the seller took ownership in 2019. Now offered with single-family ownership, this Jeep carries a clean CARFAX report and is sold on a clear Arizona title in the sellers’ name.
Finished in Black the SUV has had no previous accidents or paintwork, as verified by the CARFAX report. Exterior features include MOPAR rock rails and a heavy-duty winch-ready front bumper, a Power Bulge hood, tail lamp guards, BLKMTN front and rear fenders with Rough Country front fender guards. The Headlights are LED and feature a custom halo design on both the headlights and fog lights,. A Warrior Universal front bumper brush guard and 8” IPF Sport beam auxiliary lights are also equipped to the Jeep, the seller notes the drivers side auxiliary light is currently inoperable. The removable soft top is black vinyl with plastic windows.
Aftermarket Level-8 wheels are wrapped in newly installed BF Goodrich TA KO2 All-terrain tires measuring 285/70 on all four corners with less than 500 miles on them. Braking is handled by anti-lock disc brakes all around and a 2” Taraflex front and rear suspension lift kit was installed. The truck is factory equipped with Dana 44 heavy-duty axles with Tru-lok electronic locking differentials and electronic sway bar disconnect in the front.
The interior features black leather seats specific to the MW3 Special Edition with contrast stitching and embroidered emblems in the seatbacks. Additional details include limited-edition badging indicating the vehicle as number 1903/3500 produced and MW3 branded rubber floor mats in both the front and rear. The stereo consists of the factory Uconnect premium sound system with Bluetooth capability and an auxiliary input. The seller notes that the FM/AM radio works intermittently but there are no issues when using Bluetooth audio, auxiliary and other inputs.
Behind the multi-function steering wheel is the instrument cluster specific to the MW3 edition features MW3 designation and features a 100-mph speedometer, a 7K-RPM tachometer, and reads out for fuel and engine temperature. Two digital readouts are featured, including one for mileage, which shows just over 88K miles.
Power is provided by a 3.6L Pentastar V6, factory rated at 285 horsepower and 260 ft/lbs of torque when new. A 5-speed W5A580 automatic transmission transfers power to the wheels through an NV231 Rock-Trac transfer case. Recent maintenance includes a new battery, air filter and oil filter as well as an oil change in October of 2020.
