This 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T comes equipped with a variety of conveniences, including power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning, a heater, and a newer Panasonic audio head unit. It draws power from a 440ci V8 and sends it to the road through a TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission and the rear wheels. Recent updates include paint correction, a new fuel pump, and an oil change. Refinished in black with a black vinyl roof over a black vinyl interior, this Coronet R/T is on consignment with the selling dealer and comes with a clear title.
Originally a dark green car, this Coronet R/T was refinished in black under previous ownership. The exterior recently received paint correction and features chrome bumpers and trim, quad round headlights, fender-mounted turn signals, a black vinyl roof, dual rectangular taillights, rear over-riders, and dual exhaust outlets.
The car rides on a set of Magnum 500-style wheels and tires with black sidewall lettering.
Under previous ownership, the interior color was changed from green to black. Furnishings include front bucket seats, a center console, a woodgrain steering wheel, and woodgrain accents on the center console and door panels. The cabin is equipped with power steering and brakes, air conditioning, a heater, a Panasonic head unit, and the Interior Light Package.
Vehicle information is delivered through the Rally Gauge package Tick-Tock Tach with a clock and an 8K-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and alternator. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 99K miles, which the owner believes are original miles based on the condition of the car's engine bay and chassis. The true mileage on the vehicle is unknown.
Under the hood is a 440ci V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor and a new fuel pump. Output is reportedly 375 horsepower and sent to the road through an A-727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission and the rear wheels. An oil change was performed within the last 250 miles, according to the selling dealer.
Photos showing the condition of the underbody, suspension, and dual exhaust system are available in the gallery to the right.

@PJB57 – Did you get a chance to make the drive video? also you said the AC blows does the compressor clutch engage? thank you ...
Yes, drive video was added Monday (It's directly above this section). The rattling you hear in the video is the AC control panel, two of the screws holding it in had backed themselves out. Regarding the AC, the compressor does engage, likely just needs a charge.
Did you get a chance to make the drive video? also you said the AC blows does the compressor clutch engage? thank you
Adding pictures of radiator support/trunk numbers as well as a few others. In addition, a few of floor pans and other underside shots.
@beepahh – Does thevR12 AC system operate correctly and what is fate code on tires aside you have a build sheet? ...
As previously mentioned the AC system blows but not cold. Rear tires carry a 2006 date code and fronts 2013. Personally, I would replace both as part of my baselining the car after purchase. The owner does not have the build sheet, just the fender tag (photo64) that shows the options mentioned in the listing. I will add photos of the radiator support stamp and trunk stamp this afternoon.

@PJB57 – do all the gauges and AC work? ...
The gauges work. AC blows but not cold. Drive video will be added tomorrow showing gauges. Thanks for the question.

@LDBRIDGEWATER – Is that a factory hood? ...
Yes, the hood is stock. If you didn't opt for the dual scoops this is what came from the factory.
Is that a factory hood?
Welcome to the Coronet R/T auction. Thanks for the bids and comments. This is a very solid California B-body that was cosmetically restored under previous ownership. As noted by the cowl tag, this R/T is well-optioned from the factory and hasn't been put through the wringer of add-on customizations over the years. Would be a great car to drive as it is or a perfect foundation for a blank-slate build. Please feel free to reach out with any questions and we will do our best to respond quickly. The car is available to be viewed (virtually or in person) by appointment at our showroom; Classic Cars Ltd. in Pleasanton, CA. In addition, inspections are welcome prior to the end of the auction with 24 hours notice. Thanks again and enjoy the auction!
You can’t beat a triple black car. I like it just the way it is. Not a bunch of restomod s. But, just resto!
