OVERVIEW
This 1983 GMC Sierra K1500 4x4 regular-cab pickup is presented with a refreshed paint finish, new exterior trim, and a rebuilt 305ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. It has been upgraded with new Mud Claw tires, a dual-exhaust system, and a windshield sun visor. Finished in metallic blue and silver over a two-tone blue vinyl and cloth interior, this Sierra is now offered with a clean CARFAX report and a clear Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This 1983 Sierra K1500 comes from General Motors’ Rounded Line era of pickups and was repainted metallic blue for the body and silver for the roof and accent striping. The body is accentuated by an egg-crate-style grille, a windshield sun visor, dual mirrors, and new exterior trim including beltline moldings. The custom dual-exhaust system includes a polished outlet behind each rear tire.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Silver 15-inch steel wheels with polished trim rings are wrapped in new Mud Claw Extreme MT all-terrain tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cab is fitted with a reupholstered blue cloth and vinyl bench seat, matched to the lap belts, door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include all-weather GMC-branded floor mats.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation is comprised of an 85-mph speedometer along with factory gauges for the voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. An auxiliary oil pressure gauge is mounted to the left of the steering column. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 30K miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The rebuilt 305ci V8 has been upgraded with performance headers. Torque is transferred to all four wheels via a column-shifted three-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Additional photos showing the underside of the vehicle are available in the carousel to the right.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage on record, with the first entry appearing in 2002. There is an odometer inconsistency noted in July 2020 due to the five-digit odometer rolling over. The seller has provided a brief exterior and interior walkaround video below.
