1993 BMW 740iL

This 1993 BMW 740iL was previously sold on AutoHunter but is being relisted after the buyer backed out of the transaction through no fault of the seller. It is an unmodified long-wheelbase German sedan that has been California-owned and has accrued 84K miles throughout its lifetime, receiving power from an M60 4.0-liter V8 paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. Within the last year, it was treated to replacement components including a new water pump, valve cover gasket, and torque converter, along with fresh fluids and newer tires. Finished in white over parchment leather, this E32 740iL is now offered with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title in the seller’s name.

This 1993 740iL executive four-door sedan rides on an extended wheelbase that is 4.5 inches longer than that of a standard 7 Series from the same year. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted and newly serviced 5-speed automatic transmission. The transmission seals were replaced in December of 2021 and the seller notes that the car is leak-free at this time.

Stopping power comes from four-wheel disc brakes that were replaced along with the rotors. The front upper and lower control arms, shock absorbers, and rear pitman arm were also replaced under the seller’s ownership within the last year.
