1933 Ford Roadster

OVERVIEW

This steel 1933 Ford Roadster build was finished in 2021 and is powered by a fuel-injected Ford Mustang Cobra 5.0-liter V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. Features include Southern Air climate controls, a TCI air-spring chassis, a power-deployable rumble seat, power Wise Guys seats, power disc brakes, manual steering, and a folding convertible top. Finished in Smoke Silver with a green top over a green leather interior, this Ford is available now and comes from the selling dealer with service documentation and a rebuilt Kentucky title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The steel body and fenders are finished in Smoke Silver with a green pearl effect.  Features include chrome bumpers, amber front turn signals, a chrome grille, chrome headlight buckets, a greyhound hood ornament from American Arrow, and a four-piece hood. Additional features include a folding green cloth convertible top with a glass rear window, a power-actuated rumble seat, and dual chrome taillight housings. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of Dayton wire wheels with green rims, stainless spokes, and chrome center caps is wrapped in Toyo Versado radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The power Wise Guys bucket seats, trim, door panels, and the rumble seat are upholstered in green leather. Features include green carpeting, a green center console with a floor-mounted automatic transmission shifter, Southern Air climate control, a tilt steering column, manual steering, power brakes, and a white steel dashboard with green leather lower trim.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 140-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are mounted in a billet aluminum panel in the dashboard. The Ridetech air ride suspension control gauges and switches are located in the center console below the dashboard. The odometer reads 62 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a fuel-injected Ford Mustang Cobra 5.0-liter V8 backed by an automatic transmission. Underhood features include a smoothed and recessed body-color firewall, chrome valve covers, a Walker radiator, a March Performance serpentine pulley system, block-hugger tube headers, a polished air conditioning compressor, an electric fan, and a polished fresh air intake tube. UNDERCARRIAGE

A full-length dual-exhaust system exits at the rear. The TCI air-spring chassis is equipped with an independent front suspension, a solid rear drive axle, chrome Mustang II-style upper and lower control arms, chrome shock absorbers, a chrome sway bar, chrome rear four-link bars, a polished stainless fuel tank, and polished stainless fuel and brake lines. The chassis, rear axle housing, driveshaft, power brake master cylinder, booster, air tank, and steering rack have been finished in green.
