1997 GMC Yukon GT 4X4

OVERVIEW

This 1997 GMC Yukon GT is powered by a 5.7-liter Vortec V8 engine backed by a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Features include four-wheel drive, a recently serviced air conditioning system, an overhead console, a Pioneer AM/FM stereo, front disc brakes, cruise control, and a rear window defogger. Power features include steering, brakes, locks, windows, mirrors, and front seats. Finished in black over a gray cloth interior, this two-door Yukon comes with a CARFAX Report, service receipts, and a clear Michigan title in the seller's name.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The exterior is finished in black. Features include chrome bumpers with a new front impact strip, a color-keyed grille with new OEM headlights, color-keyed wheel flares, Yukon GT decals, power driver- and passenger-side mirrors with color-keyed caps, and new exterior door handles. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A new set of late-model chrome 20-inch Chevrolet truck wheels is wrapped in new Nitto Terra Grappler A/T tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The front bucket seats with armrests and the rear seat are upholstered in gray cloth. Power features include steering, brakes, locks, windows, mirrors, and front seats. Additional features include new interior door panels; recently serviced air conditioning with a new A/C head unit, a new climate control blower motor, and a refrigerant recharge; gray carpet; gray rubber floor mats; a center console; tilt steering; cruise control; an overhead console; heated rear glass; and a Pioneer AM/FM stereo.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer, 6K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 186,521 but the true mileage is unknown. The last reported mileage on the CARFAX report is 186,203 miles in August of 2022.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 5.7-liter Vortec V8 engine backed by a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and a two-speed transfer case. All the original air intake and emissions components are present. A video of the vehicle starting and running can be seen below. 

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Yukon was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension, a solid rear drive axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by power anti-lock front discs and rear drums. The seller states that a new exhaust system has been installed and the undercarriage has been freshly undercoated. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be found in the carousel to the right.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report starts in September of 1997 and shows 10 owners in Iowa, Illinois, and Michigan as well as an accident reported in June of 2010 that deployed a front airbag. Service receipts will come with the sale.
