NO RESERVE: 1985 Chevrolet Corvette 4-Speed

OVERVIEW

This one-owner 1985 Chevrolet Corvette has been with the seller since new and is powered by a fuel-injected 5.7-liter V8 engine backed by a Doug Nash 4+3 manual transmission with electric overdrive. Features include power steering and brakes; air conditioning; power windows, mirrors, and locks; a removable tinted roof panel; cruise control; a digital AM/FM/cassette stereo; and a variety of new parts. EXTERIOR - FEATURES

This Corvette received a respray in factory-correct Light Bronze Metallic in 1996. Features include color-keyed urethane bumpers, pop-up headlights, a forward-tilting hood, color-keyed sport mirror caps, a removable tinted roof panel, black bodyside moldings, and quad round taillights.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 16-inch aluminum Corvette wheels is wrapped in 255/50ZR16 Goodyear Eagle GS-C radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The bucket seats are upholstered in Bronze leather. Features include bronze carpeting with bronze carpeted floor mats, a center console with a Doug Nash 4+3 manual shifter and a lockable storage compartment, a black dashboard with a black top pad, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, cruise control, a tilt steering column, and factory air conditioning. Power features include steering, brakes, mirrors, windows, and locks. The seller notes that the door panels and instrument panel electronics are new, but the air conditioning needs to be recharged and the radio does not work.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

The digital panel mounted ahead of the driver includes an 85-mph speedometer, a 6K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The odometer reads 222,400 miles, which the seller states is the true mileage. According to the CARFAX report, an "Exceeds Mechanical Limits" title was issued in January of 1995 when the odometer showed 145,760 miles.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a fuel-injected 5.7-liter V8 engine backed by a Doug Nash 4+3 manual transmission with electric overdrive. An oil change was completed one year ago and a new fuel pump has been installed.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Corvette was factory-equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension and a rear drive axle. A new Borla full-length dual-exhaust system exits at the rear. Braking is provided by power discs. ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report starts in February of 1992 and shows an accident-free history with one owner in California and South Carolina. The seller will include an owner’s manual, maintenance records going back to 1985, and a window sticker with the sale.
