This K-code 1965 Ford Mustang convertible is an older restoration equipped with a supercharged HiPo 289ci V8 and an upgraded Tremec five-speed manual gearbox. EXTERIOR - FEATURES

According to the selling dealer, this car was likely restored within the last 15 years. The body has been repainted in Rangoon Red and features chrome bumpers, fog lights, 289 and GT badging, "MUSTANG" lettering on the front fenders, a driver-side mirror, white side stripes, and dual exhaust outlets integrated into the lower rear fascia. The power-operated white convertible top covers the passenger compartment and fits under a matching top boot.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 14-inch styled steel wheels with red center caps and whitewall tires connect this car to the road.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with Parchment White vinyl Pony bucket front and bench rear seats, coordinating door panels and center console, red carpeting, and a white dashboard with a red top pad. Simulated woodgrain trim is located on the steering wheel rim, dashboard, and center console. Equipment includes red front seat belts, vent windows, manual windows, heat, and an AM/FM radio. The trunk contains a patterned vinyl floor liner and a matching cover for the spare tire.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

The primary instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, amps, and coolant temperature. The Rally Pac adds an 8K-rpm tachometer and a clock. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 83K miles.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Under the hood is a solid-lifter HiPo 289ci V8 connected to a Paxton supercharger. An upgraded Tremec five-speed manual gearbox sends power to the rear wheels. Features include an AX-coded quick-ratio steering box, chrome valve covers, an export brace, and a Monte Carlo bar. The selling dealer reports the engine block has been restamped.
