This 1959 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 has received $4,000 in brake, exhaust, and climate control updates and repairs within the last year. EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The reverse lights have been recently serviced and are working properly. The seller states that there are some small paint imperfections on the driver-side rocker panel and a five-inch crack in the passenger-side window has been sealed.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 14-inch steel wheels with Oldsmobile tribar full hubcaps is wrapped in Bedford whitewall bias-ply tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The front bench seat and matching rear seat are upholstered in tri-tone red and white vinyl with gray cloth. Features include red and white vinyl door panels, black carpet with red rubber Oldsmobile floor mats, recharged factory air conditioning with an R-134a conversion, manual windows, power steering, an AM radio, a column-mounted automatic shifter, and an accessory compass. The seller notes that the dash lights and neutral safety switch have been replaced.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A repaired 120-mph Safety-Spectrum Speedometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lights for the coolant temperature, oil pressure, and generator are located ahead of the driver. A factory clock is located on the passenger side of the dashboard. With 400 miles added during current ownership, the odometer reads 133K miles, which the seller believes to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 371ci V8 engine and backed by a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission. Underhood features include an accessory lamp, yellow valve covers, a black closed-element air cleaner, and a factory air conditioning compressor with an R-134a conversion. The seller states that the engine received an overhaul in the early 1990s. Additionally, the heater core and a power steering hose have been replaced. An oil change was completed earlier this year.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Oldsmobile was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by drum brakes. The seller states that more than $4,000 has been invested in the past year in a new exhaust manifold, exhaust pipes, stainless mufflers, and front wheel cylinders.
