OVERVIEW
This 1966 Volkswagen Beetle 1300 recently underwent a restoration and several modifications that included the installation of a roof rack, an upgraded suspension, and a Bluetooth audio system. Since then, it has covered fewer than 100 miles. It is powered by a carbureted 1,285-cc flat-four engine connected to a four-speed manual gearbox. Covered in a Ruby Red patina finish over a white vinyl interior, this Beetle comes from the selling dealer with a skateboard and a clear title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
During the restoration process, the Ruby Red body's patina was left intact. Features include chrome bumpers with overriders, a driver-side mirror, a luggage rack, rubber-covered running boards, a single-piece rear window, and dual exhaust outlets. The gallery to the right shows the brightwork missing from the driver-side running board.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
This Beetle rides on a set of 15-inch five-spoke wheels with 135R15 Nankang CX668 front and 165/80R15 all-season rear tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with new white vinyl seat covers, door panels, trim, and a matching headliner. Additional features include body-color sheet metal and black carpeting. Equipment includes manual window cranks, a Bendix Sapphire I push-button radio, and a hidden Bluetooth audio system with four two-way coaxial speakers and a subwoofer.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
Vehicle information is displayed on a 90-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge. The five-digit analog odometer shows 42 miles, reflective of the mileage accrued since the restoration was completed. The actual mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Under the rear engine cover is a 1,285-cc flat-four engine with a single-barrel carburetor. A four-speed manual transmission transfers output to the rear wheels.
UNDERCARRIAGE
According to the selling dealer, the suspension has been upgraded. Additional photos of the underbody are available in the gallery.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
A skateboard will be included with the car.

I agree. Patina seems to sell. But I don’t want to bid until I see the skateboard.
