1967 CHEVROLET CAMARO

OVERVIEW

This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is a Pro Street build powered by a 502ci V8 that has been upgraded with a Holley Dominator carburetor, MSD ignition components, Edelbrock heads, and an aluminum radiator. Torque is channeled rearward through a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission to a pair of aluminum wheels with performance tires and a nine-inch rear end. Refinished in black with white striping over a black vinyl interior with a tubular roll cage, this first-year Camaro is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear Wisconsin title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

This Camaro two-door hardtop underwent customization as part of a Pro Street build and received a repaint in black with white accent striping approximately 20 years ago. Exterior features include chrome bumpers, Camaro fender badging, a driver-side mirror, and a trunk lid-mounted spoiler.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Aluminum five-spoke wheels with black accents are wrapped in a staggered-width tire setup. The back end has been tubbed to fit the rear tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cockpit is fitted with black vinyl bucket seats matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Features include a color-matched tubular roll cage, a four-spoke aftermarket steering wheel, and racing harnesses.  

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, an auxiliary 10K-rpm tachometer, and a bank of three additional gauges mounted under the dash. According to the seller, the odometer shows 100K miles, but the actual mileage on the chassis is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 502ci V8 has been upgraded with Edelbrock heads, a Holley Dominator carburetor, an MSD ignition system, and an aluminum radiator. According to the selling dealer, the engine runs on race fuel. Power is sent to the back wheels via a floor-shifted Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission and a nine-inch rear end.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping power comes from four-wheel disc brakes. The rear suspension uses four-link geometry.
