EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The body of this five-window pickup is finished in yellow and features chrome bumpers with front overriders, chrome grille bars, dual side mirrors, a cowl vent, and an accessory windshield visor. Additional features include black running boards, step pads, and a wood bed floor with metal runners. Scratches in the paint are shown in the gallery to the right.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of steel body-color 16-inch wheels with dog dish center caps and trim rings are wrapped in 6.50R16 Coker Classic whitewall radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The bench seat is upholstered with light and dark gray cloth. Features include aftermarket seatbelts, a black vinyl floor covering, yellow interior sheet metal, gray vinyl door panels, a column-mounted manual shifter, an aftermarket turn signal assembly, and a tan three-spoke steering wheel. Additional features include a yellow steel dashboard, chrome interior window frames, a retro-style FM radio, and a Chevrolet-branded heater.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 90-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. With 200 miles added during ownership, the odometer reads 26K miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a period-correct 216ci inline-six engine and backed by a manual transmission. Underhood features include blue engine block and valve cover paint, cast iron intake and exhaust manifolds, a single-barrel carburetor, an oil bath air filter, and an aftermarket coolant overflow tank. The electrical system has been upgraded to a 12-volt setup with a generator. A new radiator and a new water pump have been installed. The seller reports the truck generates a minor amount of smoke and attributes it to the engine running rich, but notes there is no oil depletion.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This pickup was factory-equipped with a solid I-beam front axle with a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual drums. A single exhaust outlet exits at the rear. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be seen in the gallery.
