OVERVIEW

This 1992 Ford Mustang LX convertible was previously owned by the same family since 1993 and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The exterior wears its original Bright Red (code EP) finish as verified by the doorjamb information tag. Features include color-keyed urethane bumpers, dual black power mirror caps, a power-operated black vinyl convertible top with a plastic rear window, color-keyed bodyside moldings, a trunk-mounted luggage rack, and LX emblems. The hood has minor dents that can be seen in the photos in the carousel to the right. The selling dealer notes that new windshield wipers and a new rear taillight lens have been installed.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of silver 16-inch Mustang wheels is wrapped in 225/55/ZR16 Cooper Cobra Radial GTZ tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The front bucket seats with power lumbar and the matching rear seat are upholstered in Scarlet Red vinyl and cloth. Features include red carpeting; red rear trim and door panels; power mirrors, brakes, steering, locks, and windows; and a red center console with an armrest and an automatic transmission shifter. Additional features include air conditioning, cruise control, a factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a red vinyl convertible boot. According to the selling dealer, a new power window switch has been installed and the heater control vacuum lines have been repaired.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 140-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 29K miles, which the seller believes to be accurate. The last reported mileage on the CARFAX report in May of 2008 was 27,591 miles.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 engine and backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. All the factory air intake and emission systems are present. An oil change was recently completed and the air filter was replaced.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Mustang is factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. Dual exhaust outlets exit at the rear. The selling dealer notes slight surface rust on the underbody.
