OVERVIEW
This 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge received a professional frame-off restoration. It has been with the seller for 13 years and is powered by a date-coded Ram Air 400ci V8 engine backed by an upgraded five-speed Tremec manual transmission. Features include power Wilwood disc brakes, a Hotchkis suspension, a hydraulic clutch, power steering, Rally gauges, hideaway headlights, an Endura front bumper, and a rear trunk lid spoiler. Finished in Carousel Red over a black vinyl interior, this reportedly rust-free GTO Judge is available now and comes with the removed stock parts detailed below, records and receipts, a copy of the original window sticker, and an Alberta, Canada Vehicle Registration Certificate in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
In 2009, the exterior was refinished in the original color of Carousel Red, as verified by paint code 72 on the data tag. Features include a color-keyed Endura front bumper, hideaway headlights, a Ram air hood, The Judge decals and side accent stripes, a fender-mounted antenna, wheel opening and rocker moldings, a color-keyed rear spoiler, and a chrome rear bumper.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of polished aluminum five-spoke Boze wheels are wrapped in radial tires. A set of uninstalled steel Pontiac Rally II wheels wrapped in new BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires will be included with the sale.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bucket seats, the rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include a black center console with a storage compartment and a Hurst manual shifter, manual windows, power steering and brakes, and an AM radio.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 140-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 5,320 miles, which the seller believes is the mileage accrued since the restoration was completed. The true mileage is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a date-coded Ram Air 400ci Pontiac V8 engine and backed by an upgraded Tremec five-speed manual transmission. The restored underhood compartment features a matte black firewall and inner fenders, chrome valve covers, and a black air cleaner with a Ram Air hood seal. An uninstalled date-correct Muncie four-speed manual gearbox will be included with the car.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This GTO was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. The original suspension has been upgraded with Hotchkis parts including tubular front control arms and front and rear sway bars. The underbody floors are finished in Carousel Red and the chassis and suspension components are finished in matte black. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear. Braking is provided by upgraded power Wilwood discs. According to the seller, the braking and suspension parts were installed in 2016. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be seen in the carousel to the right.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The seller will include a copy of the original window sticker, records, receipts, an uninstalled date-correct Muncie four-speed manual transmission, and uninstalled Rally II rims with new BFGoodrich tires as part of the sale.
