OVERVIEW
This 2003 Ford Thunderbird is an unmodified convertible that has been driven 48,622 miles since new and is powered by a 3.9-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, an AM/FM/six-disc in-dash stereo system, a power tilt/telescoping steering column, cruise control, dual cup holders, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
White-faced instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 48,622 miles, which is a true reading supported by the CARFAX report.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The Jaguar-sourced AJ35 3.9-liter V8 was rated at 280 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted five-speed automatic transmission.
