OVERVIEW
This 1986 TVR 280i convertible is powered by a fuel-injected Ford 2.8-liter V6 engine backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Finished in red with a black cloth convertible top over a black leather interior, this TVR is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and an Ontario, Canada permit.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The exterior is finished in red and features a color-keyed front spoiler, color-keyed bumpers, pop-up headlights, color-keyed rearview mirror caps, a folding black cloth convertible top with a removable center panel and a plastic rear window, a full-body ground effects kit, and dual exhaust outlets. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of cast aluminum wheels with red cross-laced centers is wrapped in Yokohama front and BFGoodrich Traction T/A rear tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The bucket seats are upholstered in black leather. Features include woodgrain accents, black carpeting, a center console with a manual transmission shifter and a Jensen cassette stereo, power windows, power brakes, and non-operational air conditioning. The selling dealer notes that cracks can be seen in the wood trim and the upholstery shows wear.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
The VDO instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temperature. The odometer reads 49,924 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. The last mileage figure entered on the CARFAX report in 2015 was 49,900 miles.
