OVERVIEW
This 1999 Volkswagen EuroVan Camper Winnebago conversion features a newer canvas pop-up camper roof, an ARB retractable side awning, newer Yokohama tires, and camp amenities including a stove, a refrigerator, and cabinetry inside the rear cargo area. It is powered by a 2.8-liter V6 paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle and recently received work on the ignition system, air conditioning, and starter. Finished in white with color-matched exterior trim over a two-tone gray patterned cloth interior, this EuroVan is now offered with additional camp accessories, a van cover from The Bus Depot, service records, a CARFAX report, and a clear Oregon title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This EuroVan was upgraded when new with Winnebago camping equipment and comes in white with matching bumpers, mirror caps, and grille treatment. The exterior is outfitted with a newer red canvas pop-up top from The Bus Depot that is suspended by replacement GoWesty struts. Additional custom add-ons include a forward-facing light bar, a hood mask, a roof-mounted solar panel, newer mudguards, and replacement windshield wiper blades. Included in the sale are an ARB awning, an ARB awning room with a floor, an ARB wind break, a rear door privacy curtain, and bug screens for the side and rear door. The images in the gallery on the right that show some of these accessories in use. According to the seller, one of the legs of the ARB awning is not fully functional.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel 15-inch wheels with VW-branded wheel covers are wrapped in Yokohama Geolandar A/T raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is furnished with two-tone gray patterned cloth swiveling captain’s chairs with folding armrests up front, a matching bench in the rear, and a sleeping/storage cargo area in the far back. Features include air conditioning, power windows, power mirrors, and a modern AM/FM/CD stereo for the front occupants. At the rear, the cabin offers storage cabinets, a table, a convertible bed, a refrigerator, a sink, a stove, privacy curtains, sliding rear windows, and a tinted liftgate window.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer, a 6K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 175,314 miles, which is in line with the mileage shown on the CARFAX report.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 2.8-liter V6 has been maintained as shown in multiple service records on the CARFAX report. The coil packs, spark plugs, and engine mounts have been replaced under the seller’s ownership. Additional service records are included in the photo carousel showing work on the seat belt assemblies, air conditioning system, starter, front crank seal, transmission mount, and other mechanical components. Power is sent to the front wheels via a column-shifted four-speed automatic transaxle equipped with a transmission cooler.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping power comes from four-wheel disc brakes. The suspension has been upgraded with Bilstein shock absorbers.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report shows an accident reported in 2012 involving airbag deployment and damage to the front of the vehicle. The seller has provided various videos including an interior tour, an exterior walkaround, a start-up sequence, and driving footage below. A van cover from The Bus Depot and various camp accessories are included with the sale as noted above and in the photo gallery.

@Idontwantone – What is that inside noise while driving? Thanks ...
Hello Idontwantone, That is probably the clothes hangers dangling around in the closet located in the back. There are also other items (sleeping pads) store in there as well that might be contributing to the noise. I appreciate your interest!
