1967 BUICK GRAN SPORT 4-SPEED

OVERVIEW

This 1967 Buick Gran Sport 400 two-door hardtop is presented with 15-inch chrome wheels, auxiliary gauges, and a dual exhaust system. Power is generated by a 455ci V8 coupled with a four-speed manual transmission. Recent maintenance includes the replacement of the idler arm and power brake booster. Finished in Regal Black over a Light Fawn vinyl interior, this GS 400 is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

This GS 400 two-door hardtop is coated in Regal Black (AA) with accenting red pinstripes and chrome brightwork for the bumpers and other exterior trim. Features include quad headlights, hood air inlets, and a dual exhaust system. The walkaround video below highlights specific blemishes.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Magnum 500-style 15-inch chrome wheels are wrapped in 225/60 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T raised-white-letter tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The interior is furnished with a Light Fawn (884) vinyl split-bench seat up front and a solid bench in the rear, a matching headliner and door panels, and a contrasting black padded dash and carpeting. Amenities include a Sonomatic push-button radio, lap belts, floor mats, a vinyl trunk mat, and a spare tire. The selling dealer notes that the radio does not power up and the center cap for the steering wheel is missing as shown in the photos to the right. According to the selling dealer, this car originally had air conditioning, but the hardware for it has been removed.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge, along with under-dash aftermarket gauges that show the oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 76,982 miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The upgraded 455ci V8 recently received a new brake booster, idler arm, and battery. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted four-speed manual transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE
