OVERVIEW
This three-owner 1974 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow luxury saloon has been driven approximately 52,000 miles since new and receives power from a recently serviced 6.75-liter V8 coupled with a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. It comes equipped with disc brakes, woodgrain interior trim, air conditioning, power windows, and rear passenger footrests. New parts include the brakes and water pump. Finished in Royal Blue over a Cream leather interior, this Silver Shadow is now offered by the selling dealer with maintenance receipts and a clear Illinois title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The Royal Blue exterior is described by the selling dealer as being in excellent condition. Features include a Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament, quad headlights, side marker lights, and chrome brightwork.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel 15-inch wheels with polished hubcaps are wrapped in whitewall tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The cabin is fitted with Cream leather bucket seats up front and a rear bench, matching door panels and center console, and dark blue carpeting. The dash, window sills, and center console are adorned with woodgrain trim. Amenities include power windows, power door locks, rear passenger footrests, a radio, heat and air conditioning, and a carpeted trunk. The selling dealer notes that the passenger-side window motor needs to be replaced.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 130-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and an ammeter. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 52K miles, which the selling dealer believes to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 6.75-liter V8 was rated at 189 horsepower. Under recent ownership, mechanical work included an oil change and the replacement of the water pump and thermostat. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
