OVERVIEW
This 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 XL convertible receives power from a 390ci FE V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. It features newer aluminum wheels, a radio, a power-operated top, power front disc brakes, and power steering. Finished in red with a white top over a red vinyl interior, this Galaxie is now offered by the selling dealer with a convertible boot and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This full-sized Galaxie convertible wears a red exterior finish and features a power-operated white retractable top with a plastic rear window. Additional design elements include stacked headlights, bodyside moldings, 390 badging, and chrome brightwork.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Aluminum five-spoke wheels with polished lips are wrapped in General Grabber HTS tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is trimmed with red vinyl fold-forward bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include a clock, a push-button radio, lap belts, floor mats, and a trunk-mounted spare tire. The selling dealer notes some fading and wear of the upholstery and the dash shows some cracking on the speaker grille as shown in the photos to the right.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Vehicle information is displayed on a sweeping 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and auxiliary warning lights for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 4,021 miles, which the seller believes to reflect 104K actual miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 390ci FE V8 has a four-barrel carburetor and directs torque to the rear wheels via a console-shifted three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Steering is power-assisted; stopping power comes from power disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Minnesota residents are responsible for tax, license, and title procurement fees; out-of-state buyers will have to pay a $125 title procurement fee only. The sale includes a convertible boot. The selling dealer has provided a video with an exterior and interior tour, an engine start-up, and footage of the top in operation below.

@BD72 – Pictures 90 & 91.. Is the passenger floor board gone? Is it open to the interior of the car? ...
If you are asking about the pans where you can see rust through, it appears that the previous owner did install a patch panel from the inside.
@Nippin – 1. Can the car be driven off the lot ? Able to do $1000 miles with any known issues? 2. Any corrosion or weakness in the frame? thank you ...
