1958 Chevrolet Viking

OVERVIEW

This 1958 Chevrolet Viking is a custom build completed in 2019 that is powered by a newer 350ci V8 equipped with FiTech fuel injection and a rebuilt 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a Restomod Air climate control system, a Bluetooth stereo, an independent front suspension, power rack-and-pinion steering, and Classic Performance Products (CPP) power front disc brakes. Finished in weathered black over a gray and black cloth interior, this Chevrolet Viking is available now and comes with a Conditional Georgia title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The body is coated in black with a patina finish and a satin clear coat. Features include white front and rear bumpers with a patina finish, a white grille, Chevrolet Viking emblems, dual side mirrors, a short step-side bed, a relocated fuel filler with a hinged door, and dual taillights. All of the glass and seals are new.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of black Detroit Steel 20-inch wheels with chrome trim rings and dog dish center caps is wrapped in Falken 245/45 radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The bench seat is upholstered in gray and black diamond-quilted cloth. Features include power steering, power brakes, Restomod Air air conditioning, a tilt steering column, a Speedway Motors wiring harness, a Bluetooth stereo, and a FiTech fuel injection digital display.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

The analog Dakota Digital gauge panel located ahead of the driver consists of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, temperature, oil, and volts. The odometer reads 2,400 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a newer 350ci V8 equipped with a FiTech fuel injection system and backed by a rebuilt 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. Underhood features include finned black valve covers, a black intake manifold, an open-element air cleaner, and an aluminum radiator.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The chassis of this Chevrolet pickup has been upgraded with a Mustang II-style independent front suspension, rack-and-pinion power steering, tubular control arms, and a sway bar. The solid rear drive axle is mounted with lowered leaf springs. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear axle. CPP power front discs and rear drums provide braking.
