OVERVIEW
This 1966 Ford Thunderbird is a hardtop coupe powered by a 390ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes chrome wire wheels, power windows, an upgraded audio system, fender skirts, and a center console. Finished in metallic silver with a white vinyl top over a gray vinyl interior, this fourth-generation Thunderbird is now offered by the selling dealer with a shop manual and a clear Arkansas title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This Thunderbird was reportedly owned long-term by the prior owner and is coated in metallic silver with a white landau roof. The body is accented with chrome brightwork and features quad headlights, rear fender skirts, sequential rear turn signals, and dual exhaust outlets.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Wire wheels with knock-off-style center caps are wrapped in whitewall tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The cabin is fitted with gray vinyl bucket seats up front, dual seats in the rear, and matching materials for the door panels, dash, console, and carpeting. Amenities include power vent windows, power windows, remote control mirrors, a power driver's seat, floor mats, and a newer radio with a trunk-mounted 12-disc CD changer.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer along with gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 54K miles, which the selling dealer believes to be the car's actual, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 390ci four-barrel V8 transfers power to the rear wheels via a column-shifted three-speed automatic transmission.
