OVERVIEW
This frame-off-restored 1952 GMC pickup is powered by a 350ci V8 engine backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power windows, power brakes and steering, an aftermarket heat and air conditioning system, and a wood bed floor. Finished in red over a tan cloth interior, this GMC truck is available now and comes from the selling dealer with restoration photos and a clear Pennsylvania title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The exterior has been finished in red and features frenched headlights, a chrome front bumper, a chrome grille, a shaved hood, shaved door handles, dual mirrors, color-matched steel running boards, a wood bed floor with stainless strips, and a color-matched rear roll pan with custom taillights.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of polished 15-inch five-spoke American Racing wheels is wrapped in staggered-sized BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The bench seat and custom-sculpted door panels are upholstered in tan cloth. Features include tan carpeting with black floor mats, a floor-mounted automatic shifter, power windows, power steering, air conditioning, Ron Francis wiring, a six-disc CD changer mounted behind the seat, red interior sheet metal, and a red steel dashboard. Additional features include a tilt steering column with a billet aluminum banjo-style steering wheel. The selling dealer states that the CD changer needs a remote cord.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
An aftermarket set of Stewart Warner gauges includes a 160-mph speedometer and a combination gauge with readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and battery voltage. The odometer reads 2,593 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 350ci V8 engine and backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Underhood features include smoothed body-color inner fenders and firewall, aluminum valve covers, a chrome alternator, an aluminum intake with a four-barrel carburetor, a chrome air cleaner, dual electric fans, and tubular exhaust manifolds.
UNDERCARRIAGE
During the frame-off restoration, the original frame was fitted with a Mustang II independent front suspension with coil-over shocks and finished in black. The solid nine-inch Ford rear axle is mounted with leaf springs. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A full Flowmaster dual exhaust system ends at the rear of the vehicle.
