Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 3LZ C7.R is an AMP (Advanced Modern Performance) build that has been driven 7,597 miles since new and is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 paired with a seven-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a removable roof panel, carbon fiber exterior components, carbon ceramic brakes, and a titanium Akrapovic axle-back exhaust system. Finished in black with two-tone gray striping over a black leather and gray microfiber interior, this C7 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with an uninstalled set of wheels and tires, an owner’s manual, detailing products, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

This modified Corvette C7.R pays homage to Corvette Racing racecars and is coated in black with two-tone gray striping and equipped with a color-matched removable roof panel. Additional features include carbon fiber body accents, HID headlights, fender vents, a rear spoiler, and a titanium Akrapovic axle-back exhaust system with quad outlets.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Black 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels are wrapped in Toyo Proxes tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cockpit is fitted with dual black leather and gray microfiber bucket seats with yellow contrast stitching, matched to the door panels, dash, console, and carpeting. Amenities include WeatherTech all-weather floor mats, dual-zone automatic climate control, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, a leather shift knob, power outlets, C7.R-specific aluminum door sill plates, a Bose stereo, a head-up display, a cargo net, and a MyLink infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen and voice-operated navigation.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

The customizable instrumentation includes a digital speedometer, a 7,500-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the oil pressure, boost, oil temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 7,597 miles, which is supported by the CARFAX report.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 uses dry-sump lubrication and has been upgraded with a ProCharger F-1A kit. Output is reported to be 1,041 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a seven-speed manual transmission and an electronic limited-slip differential.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The CARFAX report states that the alignment was checked in August 2021. Stopping power comes from anti-lock carbon-ceramic discs with yellow Brembo calipers. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel to the right.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report shows an accident- and damage-free vehicle history. This Corvette passed an Idaho emissions inspection in 2020. The video below shows the car starting and interior and exterior footage. The sale includes an owner’s manual, detailing products, and an uninstalled set of wheels with Continental tires.

The methanol system should be used when driving the car as it lowers the temperature and has been utilized since the car was modified. All you have to do is fill the OEM windshield wiper container. It currently doesn't have any in the car since its not good to have the methanol liquid just sitting around while the car isn't being driven.

@Armo – Any modifications to the clutch assembly, transmission, suspension, etc. to handle the additional horsepower and torque? ...

If you talk to AMP from Texas, they say that the Z06 Corvettes are pretty stout and they have a ton of customers with their Stage 5 R package and don't have any clutch/transmission issues. They said you can do whatever you want, but felt that it was a waste of money to throw at the car. Here is AMP's website and their package is called Stage 5 R. They professionally did the motor work and the install. https://advancedmodernperformance.com/packages/z06-c7/ -Garage Kept Motors

@Daveyschmitt – Reports 1000hp but only mentions a procharger. Lots of details missing to hit that mark. I’d run away. ...

If you are familiar with the Z06 platforms and/or Dodge Hellcat motors, it doesn't take much to get these beasts over a 1,000 hp. BUT, please don't just take our word for it. See the attached photo of the actual dyno. -Garage Kept Motors
