OVERVIEW
This 2009 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was assembled by Classic Reflections Coachworks (CRC) and combines C6 Corvette underpinnings with a C2-style body rendered in carbon fiber. It has been driven 13,916 miles since new and is powered by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Equipment includes staggered chrome C6 Corvette Z06-style Ronal wheels, XM radio, dual-zone automatic climate control, quad exhaust outlets, and a manually-operated top. Finished in metallic silver, black, and white with a black cloth top over a black and gray leather interior, this custom Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a 2008 Corvette owner's manual, a letter and appraisal value from Ron Hornig of Retro Vette LLC (formerly CRC), CRC promotional materials, and a Colorado title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This Corvette convertible was built in 2009 by Classic Reflections Coachworks with bodywork styled after the 1962 Corvette and donor running gear from a wrecked, low-mileage 2008 Corvette. It has been garage-kept since that time and features a tri-tone metallic silver, black, and white carbon fiber composite body capped off with a black cloth manually-retractable top. Features include quad headlights, chrome brightwork, contrasting side coves, a center high-mounted brake lamp, and quad polished exhaust outlets. The car retains its 2008-era crash protection equipment both inside and out.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Chrome C6 Corvette Z06-style Ronal wheels are wrapped in Michelin tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-seat cockpit is fitted with two-tone black and gray leather power-adjustable bucket seats with CRC-embroidered backrests, matched to the door panels, dash, center console, carpeting, and embroidered floor mats. Amenities include carbon fiber trim, navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, XM radio, power windows, power door locks, and cruise control.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer, a 7,500-rpm tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The digital odometer currently reads 13,916 miles.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The LS3 6.2-liter V8 and accompanying drivetrain equipment came from a donor 2008 C6 Corvette and were transferred to a new frame at the time of the build. Factory ratings for this engine were 430 horsepower and 424 lb-ft of torque. Recent service includes a Mobil 1 synthetic oil change, the installation of a new battery, and a full inspection within the past year. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. According to the selling dealer, this car recently passed an emissions test.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping power comes from four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
This vehicle previously carried a reconstructed Washington title. The selling dealer has provided a video with an exterior walkaround and a start-up below. They will include a 2008 Corvette owner's manual, a letter and appraisal value from Ron Hornig of Retro Vette LLC (formerly CRC), and CRC promotional materials with the car. A $299 dealer fee will be added to the purchase price.

@n2carz though the car had a reconstructed title from Texas it's being sold with a clean Colorado title. Perhaps you'll reconsider bidding
@rtpeet – I am a little confused - where is the car currently registered? Is a salvage title or a reconstructed title from Washington State? ...
I can see how this is all a bit confusing. Let me try to explain: The car is registered in Colorado with the current owner and the car has a clean Colorado title. Back in 2014 when the title was issued Colorado was known as a title washing state, meaning if a car had a reconstructed title from another state Colorado would issue it a clean title. I just got off the phone with the former head of titles for the Colorado Independent Auto Dealers Asc. and she explained that all states are now reporting titles into a national system that works like CarFax for the government. She explained that some states are flipping cars back to their original title status while other states are not. As it sits, this car has a clean Colorado title and we have done our best to provide transparency about the vehicles history and previous title status.

@n2carz – Wow, good catch. You are absolutely correct in identifying that this car does not have Heads up Display. I have HUD on my CRC Corvette and love it, and can clearly see that it is not on this car. ...
You are both correct. This was an error on our part when creating the vehicle's description. I just checked with the owner and he confirmed this car does not have a heads up display (HUD). In an effort to try and make this right for bidders on the platform we're offering a 50% reduction in the dealer handling fees. Our sincere apologies for the mix up.

@frank66h – Hi, my name is Frank and I am the owner of several vettes, and familiar with the history for more than 30 years. The description tells, that this Vette is equipped with HUD = head-up-display. But the pictures tell another story ? The switches on the left side of the instrument panel showing the milage are blank ! And there is no whole in the instrument lid on the drivers side to project the information provided by the HUD system to the window. This indicates, that the glass is a regular windschield, too. How can You explain this confusion ? Are there more things wrong ? ...

@CultCarsForSale – First I'd like to congratulate you on your the purchase of "literally" more than 1,000 vehicles. That certainly qualifies you as foremost expert in the field of shill bidding. You noted the buyer DMNM4937is associated with the seller, perhaps you know something about this individual we are unaware of - can you please share how you know this person is associated with us or the owner of the vehicle? Do you have any evidence to prove your point or is it just a hunch you felt like sharing with the community? We checked this person's profile and see no auction history which is a bit suspicious, especially considering the recent bidding activity, but it's not fair to infer we're engaged in shill bidding. We've contacted AutoHunter, requesting your comment be removed. Facts speaks louder than assumptions -- please show up with some evidence linking your assertions to factual data. As the owner of the company I can tell you and the enthusiast community at large we are 100% above board. We have not, nor would we ever engage in purposefully deceiving our customers. ...
An amazing car and well represented by @seller. GLWTA!
A question came up regarding the frame of the vehicle and I just heard back from Ron Hornig, the vehicles creator. He reports a 2008 C6 Corvette frame was used as the underpinnings for the build.
@Emerson – Does everything on the car work? A/C, heat, defrost, automatic soft top, windows, etc. Thanks ...
Yes everything from power windows to a/c was tested during the photo shoot and is fully functional .
@n2carz – I'm not sure I can agree with the gentleman claiming this is "shill" bidding. I recently bought a CRC Corvette on AH and DMNM4937 was bidding well above the reserve on that car when trying to win the auction. He or she was outbid in the last few minutes of the auction and did not win the auction. After the close of the auction the owner shared with me what his reserve was, which confirmed DMNM4937 was bidding well above the reserve price. It appears to me that DMNM4937 really wants one of these rare CRC Corvettes and is doing his or her best not to loose another auction in the last few minutes. These cars sold new for approx. $160k. Restomod Corvettes are climbing in value everyday. At the current bid this would be a great price if the buyer wasn't concerned about the Salvage title. If it weren't a Salvage title, I would be bidding on it too. They are incredibly well built Corvettes. The nostalgia of the old school Corvette with all the modern conveniences and drivability. I can't drive mine anywhere without attracting and crowd. Again, I believe the bidding is legit. Good luck with the auction. ...
Thank you for the comments comments, we appreciate you adding a little history to this bidder.
