ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

UNDERCARRIAGE
This Corvette was factory-equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and a rear drive transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Larger ring and pinion gears and stronger axle half-shafts with upgraded universal joints have been installed. Braking is provided by four-wheel power discs. A set of four-into-one headers flow into new catalytic convertors and through new vacuum-actuated bi-modal mufflers and four rear outlets.
