OVERVIEW
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 was restored in 2021 and is powered by a rebuilt, numbers-matching 302ci V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a cowl-induction hood, power brakes, Rally gauges, a rear spoiler, and Z/28 emblems. Finished in Burnished Brown with white stripes over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Camaro is available now and comes with the uninstalled original steering wheel and radio, numbered documentation photos, additional uninstalled parts, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
During the restoration in 2021, the body was refinished in the original color of Burnished Brown, as verified by paint code 61 on the trim tag. Features include chrome bumpers, white Z/28 stripes, a cowl-induction hood, a driver-side mirror, a fender-mounted antenna, Z/28 emblems, wheel well and rocker trim, and a rear spoiler. A detailed walkaround video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of steel Chevrolet Rally wheels with stainless center caps and trim rings is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bucket seats, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include a center console with a four-speed manual shifter, simulated woodgrain accents, manual windows, power brakes, manual steering, an upgraded sport steering wheel with a wood rim, and an aftermarket AM/FM stereo.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and a clock are located ahead of the driver. Gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, temperature, and battery are located in the center console. The odometer reads 76,366 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a numbers-matching DZ 302ci V8 that has logged 600 miles since being rebuilt in 2018. That transmits its output to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include finned cast aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake, a four-barrel carburetor, a closed-element air filter with a cowl-induction hood seal, and cast iron exhaust manifolds.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Camaro was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. The Positraction rear end is equipped with 3.73:1 gears. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
