OVERVIEW
This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible underwent an interior restoration several years ago that included the installation of new upholstery and carpeting. It comes with a refurbished suspension, a newer clutch, Kelsey-Hayes wheels, and four-wheel disc brakes. Power comes from a 327ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission that sends the engine's output to the rear Hankook whitewall tires. Finished in red with a white top over a red vinyl interior, this C2 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with more than $12,000 in parts receipts, an owner’s manual, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This second-generation Corvette convertible was repainted red during an older restoration and is complemented by a contrasting newer white retractable top with a plastic rear window. Features include pop-up headlights, chrome and stainless steel brightwork, and a dual exhaust system.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Kelsey-Hayes wheels with knock-off caps are wrapped in Hankook Optimo whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
As part of the interior restoration, the two-seat cockpit was reupholstered with new red vinyl seating surfaces, new red carpeting, and a new matching dash pad. Amenities include embroidered floor mats, an analog clock, a teak wood steering wheel, and a vertically mounted aftermarket AM/FM radio connected to speakers throughout the cabin.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and accompanying gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 68,160 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 327ci V8 was reportedly rated at 356 horsepower and 352 lb-ft of torque. It has been upgraded with an HEI ignition system, an Edelbrock Performer intake with an electric choke, Edelbrock valve covers, a chrome air cleaner, and exhaust headers. Service history is shown in the accompanying maintenance receipts; noteworthy items include the replacement of the radiator, clutch, valve cover gaskets, and spark plugs. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted four-speed manual transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The chassis architecture for the C2 uses a transverse rear leaf spring, unequal front A-arms, and an anti-roll bar. The bushings, front shock absorbers, and front stabilizer bar end links have been replaced. Stopping power comes from four-wheel disc brakes. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel to the right.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The sale includes an owner’s manual and parts and service receipts totaling over $12,000. The selling dealer has provided a video showing a start-up, interior tour, and exterior walkaround below. The selling dealer charges a $200 documentation fee in addition to the price of the car.

The motor is a 1967 327, so we are NOT selling it as a numbers matching car. I didn't get a chance to check the transmission.

This is the only number that is on the stamp pad (V0629KL). The motor is a 1967 327.
@lumpy16 – Does it have power steering ...
It does not have PS.
