OVERVIEW
This restored 1970 Chevrolet Nova is powered by a numbers-matching 350ci V8 backed by a Muncie M21 four-speed manual gearbox. Features include power front disc brakes, an HEI distributor, SS badges, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. Finished in Atomic Orange over a black vinyl interior, this Nova is available now and comes from the selling dealer with receipts, the Protect-O-Plate, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
During the restoration 11 years ago, the exterior was refinished in Atomic Orange. Features include chrome bumpers, SS emblems, hood louvers, Nova fender badges and trim, and a driver-side mirror. A detailed walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of chrome Cragar wheels is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bench seat and matching rear seat are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include manual windows, power brakes, manual steering, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge are mounted in the factory locations ahead of the driver. A Bosch 8K-rpm tachometer is attached to the steering column. Sunpro gauges for the oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temperature are positioned under the dashboard. The odometer reads 39,652 miles but the true mileage on this car is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a numbers-matching 350ci V8 engine and backed by a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include Edelbrock valve covers, an Edelbrock air cleaner, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, headers, an HEI distributor, a Be Cool aluminum radiator, and a chrome alternator. According to the selling dealer, the engine was blueprinted, balanced, and equipped with roller valvetrain components under previous ownership.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Nova has an independent front suspension and a 12-bolt Positraction rear end with 3.31:1 gears. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear. Power front discs and rear drums bring the car to a stop. Traction bars and a chrome differential cover have been added to the rear axle.
