This 1949 Ford F1 pickup is finished in green over a tan leather interior and is powered by a 302ci V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Professionally restored under previous ownership, equipment includes TCI custom frame, air conditioning, and power-adjustable bucket seats. Located in New Hope, Pennsylvania, this F1 is now offered on a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
The truck's body is finished in green with chrome accents on the front bumper, grille, headlight bezels, and side mirrors. During the restoration, teardrop style brake lights were added to the rear fenders, the rear bumper was removed, and a custom rear valance was fabricated with cutouts for the dual exhaust tips. A "Ford" script is painted on the rear tailgate, and the wood bed features locking strips finished to match the body with polished hardware and a custom cargo box.
Factory steel wheels are finished in tan with chrome baby moon center caps and trim rings, mounted to wide whitewall tires on all four corners. The truck rides on a fully boxed TCI chassis finished in green, equipped with a Mustang II front-end suspension with tubular A-arms, power steering, and power front disc brakes.
The interior is fitted with tan leather bucket seats sourced from a late-model GM truck with eight-way power adjustability. The custom door panels, dash, and carpet are all in tan as well to match, and a chrome tilt steering column was installed. The factory radio has been upgraded with a modern stereo head unit with AM/FM/CD and Bluetooth connectivity. Additional features include an under-dash Air conditioning unit, Lokar shifter, and chrome pedals.
Instrumentation is made of two main gauges from Omega custom instruments and includes a 140mph speedometer with oil pressure and voltage readouts on the left, while an 8k rpm tachometer and readouts for fuel level, and voltage are on the right. The five-digit digital odometer reads 3k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
Power is provided by a 302ci V8 that was rebuilt at the time of the restoration and equipped with a hi-rise intake manifold, Edelbrock carburetor, headers, and Cobra valve covers. The cooling system has been upgraded with an aluminum radiator and stainless steel flex-hoses. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AOD four-speed automatic transmission a 9” rear end.
The underside has been fully restored with the chassis, rear, and suspension components finished to match the body, while the cab floor is finished in tan.
